I photograph life and urban environments that focus on the theme of individuality. On the streets, I use a fine art approach to isolate strangers to re-individualize people in cities. My work celebrates life in and around cities and at the same time, it reflects my own feelings and experiences of being an individual working and living in an urban environment.
My inspirations are from being raised in New York City. I observe how we are keeping to ourselves and minding our own business. This is how I start to notice people and urban environments around me by using my camera. Not only does this portray my vision, the use of photography allows me to explore the emotions involved with life in the city. The idea helps with my personal search of peace in cities that highlights the celebration of individuality and the works that derive from it.
